A bit about us: We are a top Heavy Highway Contractor in the PA and NJ market with a large backlog of work. We are looking to add (2) two Project Engineers to our team to support the growth and volume of work.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of heavy civil construction projects.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules to meet project objectives.
- Utilize your expertise in cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering to optimize project outcomes.
- Cook up project tasks and deliverables, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to ensure that all project requirements are met.
- Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed of project progress.
- Identify and resolve any project issues or risks that may impact project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve project outcomes and deliver added value to our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Open to entry level with relevant internships
- Proven experience in cost control, structural engineering, and value engineering.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and SAP.
- Desire to acquire a Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
