About the role

Balfour Beatty is seeking a Project Engineer Field for their education/municipal team in Dallas, TX. This entry-level position assists the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with various project tasks.

Responsibilities

• Project Financial Responsibilities: Preconstruction Services, Project Start-up and Scheduling, Project Administration, Coordination, and Close-out
• Promote Customer Relations
• Promote Culture, Leadership, and Employee Development
• Project Financial Responsibilities: Maintain certain aspects of the project schedule, manage submittal approvals, coordinate material deliveries, maintain schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are completed with quality, profitability, and compliance with safety/Zero Harm culture.

Requirements

• B.S. in Construction Management (preferred)
• One six-month intern co-op with a construction company
• Proficiency in using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, the internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook)
• One to three years of previous working experience
• RFI, Change orders, Submittals, Punch-list, Assisting with sub-contractor meeting minutes
