Project Engineer - FCC

About the role

To perform product evaluations. Reports to Technical Team Lead.

• May provide guidance and training to junior engineers, technicians and temporary staff for projects as required
• Collaborates with other employees, ensures communication with administrative personnel and account managers
• Conducts test programs on consumer products and prepares the associated documentation, including collecting data; may have some responsibilities for writing reports
• Works with some supervision
• May train or supervise others
• Reviews programs and identifies further needs to the customer
• Communicates with customers and other stakeholders as needed
• Uses and may build certain test setups and equipment
• May review application/request to ensure the review of work requirements are met
• May be responsible for a CPE retail client with supervision
• Physical labor anticipated for many programs
• Client contact may be part of the duties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory, research and development or testing role, or experience in production or fabrication
• Must have knowledge of laboratory equipment; machine shop experience is preferred
• Computer knowledge necessary
