Project Engineer (Entry Level)
About the role
Garver is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our established Water team in Tulsa. The Project Engineer will work under a Project Manager on a multi-discipline design team, focusing on the production of design-phase deliverables such as reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to exceed their service expectations and performing engineering calculations and detailed design for projects including:
- Water distribution and wastewater collection, including pumping and storage
- Sewer distribution and collection, pumping, and lifts
- Water and wastewater treatment plants
- Improvements and retrofitting of existing treatment facilities

Responsibilities
- Produce design-phase deliverables, including reports, technical memoranda, design manuals, plans, sections, details, and specifications
- Perform engineering calculations and detailed design for water and wastewater projects
- Work closely with clients to ensure their expectations are exceeded
- Collaborate with a multi-discipline team of design engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Registered as an Engineer In Training (EIT) or able to obtain registration within the next 6 months
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook
Preferred Skills
- 0-1 years of internship experience related to the design of water/wastewater systems
- Master’s degree in civil, environmental, or biological/biosystems engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience with Microstation, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD
- Experience in process modeling software, such as Hydromantis GPS-X or BioWin
