Project Engineer - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Support the successful EE development and launch of new products with a cross-functional team
• Work with the cross-functional team to develop design specifications and validation test plans for electrical power conversion products
• Perform product validation testing, including radiated and susceptibility testing, and support troubleshooting activities
• Support prototype and production builds with hands-on support
• Participate in cross-functional design reviews for electrical power conversion products
• Perform basic mechanical fabrication using standard shop equipment for prototypes and test fixtures (drilling, cutting, etc.)
• Complete assigned tasks and maintain schedules for multiple projects as appropriate

Requirements

• Must have an appropriate college degree in Electrical Engineering
• Must have 5-10 years of electrical engineering experience related to the design and validation of electrical power conversion products
• Must be self-motivated, results-oriented, and be flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Must have experience interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams
• Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Must have attention to detail, accountability, and self-motivation
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of products
• Experience in EE PCBA manufacturing is preferred
