Project Engineer - Designer

Responsibilities

• Design new products from the ground up with minimal or no product history.
• Perform all aspects of design including planning, modeling, part selection, defining analysis plans, test plans, validating processes, conducting failure analyses, creating drawings, conducting manufacturability reviews, and managing product launches.
• Conduct product research and define details of new products or product improvements.
• Manage design records and oversee prototype builds, product testing, and evaluated tested products.
• Create and manage Engineering Change Notices.
• Prepare manuals and assist Marketing with sales documentation.
• Lead the Attachment Engineering team and collaborate with other cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• A combination of 5-8 years of relevant experience in product design and manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking applied to new product design.
• Able to work independently and contribute as a team member within Engineering and other cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and project management skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creo experience is preferred.
• A degree in mechanical engineering or related experience.
