Project Engineer (Data Centers)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role plays a crucial part in supporting complex mission critical and data center construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Take on increased ownership of coordination, financial tracking, and project processes
• Manage procurement and submittal workflows
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource and mentor to Project Coordinator team members
• Manage Day 2 items with oversight from Project Manager
• Create and manage procurement log, including weekly and twice-weekly follow-ups with trade partners and email documentation
• Reconcile financials in Procore each month prior to pencil submission to Accounting with PM oversight and approval
• Manage Invite To Bid (ITB) process and corresponding documentation
• Prepare clear, comprehensive, and properly structured RFIs with PM oversight
• Manage closeout documentation in Procore, distribute to the Owner, schedule and document end user training, while providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to the Project Coordinator to ensure completion within the project closeout month
• Develop accurate project schedules with PM oversight
• Distribute project documentation to and from all relevant parties in a timely fashion
• Manage the submittal and procurement process with PM oversight
• Manage Day 2 items with oversight from Project Manager
• Develop accurate project schedules with PM oversight
