Project Engineer -Data Center Construction
About The Role
We’re seeking a Project Engineer ready to be on the front lines of a project—giving daily support to the field, project management, and customer teams. Our Project Engineers (PE) are vital in keeping our processes moving along and assists in the execution of project plans. This role will be responsible for specific activities such as coordinating material onsite delivery dates, maintaining RFI, submittals, and change order logs, and will serve as a key point of contact for internal customers.
Responsibilities
- Act as key point of contact with internal customers for specific scopes of work.
- Participates with Project Management on the execution of estimating activities including project bids and change orders.
- Contributes to effective job start meetings and team meetings.
- Supports the team by coordinating material onsite delivery dates with the project schedule.
- Partners with CEI safety professionals to identify hazards and document.
- Maintains complete and accurate RFI, submittal and change order logs.
- Maintains an organized filing system and structure.
- Maintains current drawing log and distributes new information to team members and subcontractors.
- Maintains close out log. Requests relevant documentation and submits to customer.
- Standardizing and documenting the above procedures.
- Auditing the use of standardized procedures across job sites.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
- Licensure/Certifications: None required.
- Experience: Zero (0) years of construction or related experience required. Two (2) years of construction or related experience preferred.
- Driving Record: Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Pay
Salary Range: $66,000 to $86,000. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
