The Role
As a Structural Design Engineer, you will contribute to the analysis, design, and delivery of building structures across a variety of market sectors. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers while developing your technical expertise in structural design, project coordination, and client interaction. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, collaborating with design teams, and seeing projects progress from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Design & Analysis: Design structural systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, and mixed-use developments; perform structural calculations using industry-standard software; develop construction documents and design details; coordinate structural designs with architects and other disciplines; participate in quality reviews and technical problem-solving.
- Project Delivery: Support projects from schematic design through construction administration; attend project meetings with internal and external stakeholders; assist with project coordination and technical communication; collaborate with senior engineers on complex structural challenges.
- Professional Development: Work closely with experienced technical mentors; gain exposure to client meetings and project presentations; develop leadership capabilities as your experience grows; create a long-term technical career path within the organisation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience designing building structures
- EIT certification or working towards PE licensure
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Passion for structural engineering and building design
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using RAM, RISA, ETABS, Revit, or similar software
- Exposure to commercial, healthcare, or educational projects
- Desire to continue developing technical expertise
