Project Engineer – Controls
About the role
Control Air Enterprises LLC, an employee-owned company (ESOP), is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Controls team as a Project Engineer. In this role, you will support Project Managers in the successful execution of ACCS projects, with a focus on building strong client relationships, ensuring project profitability, and advancing your own professional growth.
We are a full mechanical contracting firm specializing in Major Construction, Tenant Improvement, Industrial, Plumbing, Retrofit, Service, Controls, Energy Commissioning, and Detailing. Our divisions handle a wide range of projects and services, including Design Build, Design Assist, and Plan & Spec for facilities in the Medical, Entertainment, Laboratory, Hotel, Resort, Office, Government, Education, Civic, and Commercial industries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor daily project requirements for assigned projects
- Assist with project submittals and documentation
- Follow up with vendors and subcontractors
- Generate and track purchase orders
- Maintain project logs and internal job management records
- Solicit and evaluate vendor quotes
- Support change order (CO) estimates
- Maintain organized and accurate project files
- Assist with bi-weekly Project Manager reporting and preparation
- Utilize Project Management systems (basic proficiency required)
- Generate and track Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Attend monthly Job Team Development (JTD) meetings with Project Managers

Pay
Pay Range: $37–$41 per hour
Control Air Enterprises LLC is headquartered in Anaheim, CA, with additional offices in San Diego and Hayward (Northern California). Our manufacturing facilities are located in Anaheim and Hayward.
