Project Engineer - Construction

About the role

The Boldt Company is seeking a Project Engineer to support projects ranging from large ground-up healthcare construction to data center projects. This role offers hands-on field exposure, real responsibility, and a clear path into project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support to the Project Manager and Superintendent by driving RFIs and submittals
• Coincide with procurement coordination
• Track field productivity
• Help maintain schedule integrity
• Be immersed in the daily rhythm of the jobsite
• Play a critical role in keeping work moving safely and efficiently

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Project Engineer from a general contractor
• Ability to support RFIs, submittals, and procurement tracking
• Willingness to engage daily with Superintendents and field teams
• Experience in tracking productivity, percent complete, and schedule updates
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-energy jobsite environment
• Desire to grow a long-term career in construction management

Qualifications

• Nice to have: Bluebeam or similar document control tools
• Scheduling experience or interest in look-ahead planning
• Experience supporting multiple subcontractors or scopes

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $82,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
