Project Engineer
Responsibilities
- Project Management responsibilities for successful planning, preparation and execution
- Vet through identified need and develop project scope and objectives
- Develop documents needed for approval of capital funding
- Develop & manage budget and schedule for projects
- Direct and support project team through project risks and issues
- Communicate project status/metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Troubleshoot & provide support to other teams as necessary
- Ability to occasionally travel up to 25% to other plant locations
Requirements
- Technical Manufacturing background and knowledge of machine design and operating principles and machine repair and troubleshooting practices
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards and product and process design techniques
- Proficiency in ability to design, build and troubleshoot machine & safety control systems, PLC/HMI software and electrical systems is highly desired but not required

About the Role
The Project Engineering role has the responsibility to complete a broad range of moderately to complex projects. Projects include equipment procurement and installation; facility upgrades; process improvements; new automation; and projects involving electrical systems, PLC, HMI, and other upgrades. This role will support multiple manufacturing facilities by participating in Transformation and Continuous Improvement initiatives. Further, this role will have interactions with the New Product Development (NPD) team, Commercial, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory, EH&S, Finance, and other functional & leadership Teams.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience (4 Year ABET Accredited College Degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 plus years related experience
