Project Engineer

About the role

TPi Arcade, LLC is an aluminum foundry seeking a Project Engineer to oversee the technical and engineering aspects of projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage technical tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, and proper resource allocation.
• Establish project criteria, coordinate reviews, and ensure correct implementation of project elements.
• Communicate with TPI customers and project managers using technical expertise regarding products.
• Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
• Occasional travel required, including conducting technical presentations.

• Extended periods working in the foundry.
• Sitting and viewing a computer monitor.
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling materials as necessary.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to an environment requiring hearing protection, eye safety gear, and safety shoes.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Motivated by success.
• Familiarity with ISO9000 or AS9100.
• Knowledge of GD&T and SolidWorks/Inventor.
• Ability to break projects into smaller tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong time management skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Access.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
• 2-5 years of experience (not required).
• Familiarity with aluminum castings concepts, practices, and procedures.
