Commercial Construction Project Engineer – Denver Metro Commercial Construction Project EngineerLocation: Denver Metro Area, CO Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $70,000–$85,000+ DOEAbout the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join our team in the Denver metro area. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who is looking to grow within an established commercial General Contractor.The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years of experience in construction, with a preference for candidates holding a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Candidates without a degree but with hands-on commercial construction experience are encouraged to apply.The Project Engineer will support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the construction process, helping coordinate documentation, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and project communications.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers with the day-to-day administration of commercial construction projectsReview plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and project documentsAssist with subcontractor and vendor coordinationPrepare, track, and maintain RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentationAssist with project schedules and procurement trackingReview subcontractor invoices and pay applicationsHelp track project costs, budgets, and commitmentsParticipate in project meetings and document meeting notes and action itemsAssist with material procurement and delivery coordinationCommunicate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal project teamsAssist with quality control and project closeout activitiesMaintain accurate project records and documentationSupport the Project Manager and Superintendent with other project needs as requiredQualifications0–3 years of construction experienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferredCommercial construction experience strongly preferred for candidates without a degreeUnderstanding of commercial construction processes and terminologyAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and OutlookExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, or other construction management software is a plusAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced team environmentWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is driven, organized, and eager to build a career in commercial construction.
