About the Role

The Project Engineer/Project Manager provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers. This role involves designing and supervising construction projects, which may include water and wastewater, land development, and transportation based on service center needs.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs, personnel, and material needs for projects.
• Conduct studies and prepare written reports for clients.
• Lead projects and supervise engineers, E.I.T.s, drafters, and field personnel.
• Work individually or as part of a team on larger-scale projects.
• Assist in business development efforts, including preparing statements of qualifications and proposals for potential clients.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Requirements

• Four-year civil engineering degree.
• P.E. license.
• CAD experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience working on water/wastewater, roadway, and drainage projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing municipal projects.
• Experience managing teams.
