Project Engineer

The Project Engineer is an entry-level position with the intent of growing into a Project Manager with Stevens.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with submittals, RFIs, drawings, and project documentation.
• Handle client communication, production, and cost tracking.
• Solicit and qualify subcontractor bids and project scopes.
• Write subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, and proposals for approval.
• Develop and manage punch lists with the Project Team.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure jobsite needs are being met.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering, or related degree.
• Ability to read and understand construction-specific project documents.
• Experience with project scheduling software.
• Knowledge of construction safety.
