About the role
The Project Engineer will design, implement, and maintain mechanical systems across various construction projects while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for construction projects
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing mechanical systems
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
Skills
- Strong technical skills in mechanical engineering
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
