The Project Engineer works on-site within the Project Management Team and is responsible for contract setup, submittals, assisting with the bid package process, change orders, and assisting with the scheduling of the project. Responsibilities vary with project size and complexity.
Responsibilities
- Contract setup and administration
- Submittals and shop drawing coordination
- Assisting with bid package preparation
- Change order management
- Assisting with project scheduling
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience creating documentation such as RFIs and client correspondence on issues related to the notification provisions in contracts
- 1–3 years of reading and understanding construction plans and drawings, and the technical specifications associated with drawings
- 1–3 years of experience outlining specifications required for submission to clients and ensuring submittals and shop drawings are approved
- 1–3 years of experience with project close-out
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar, or 8 years of equivalent experience

Pay
Salary range: USD $70,000 – $85,000 per year
