Project Engineer

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your knowledge by applying basic design thinking/design best practices concepts in projects.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Automation – Energy Division in Bangalore- India Region. Main stakeholders include Project Lead Engineers, customers, commissioning teams, project engineers, site personnel, and cross-functional project teams.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Support the Project Lead Engineer in delivering engineering, installation, commissioning, and project execution activities.
• Develop, configure, and customize Distributed Control System (DCS) solutions to meet customer and project requirements.
• Perform DCS installation, system integration, validation, loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to ensure engineering deliverables align with technical specifications and documentation requirements.
• Support project closure through As-Built documentation, customer handover, and extensive site engagement, including frequent domestic travel (>70%).

Qualifications For The Role

• You enjoy working with industrial automation in the pharma and chemicals market.
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation DCS commissioning in process automation industry.
• You possess enhanced knowledge of 800xA.
• You are motivated by stakeholder management and team management.
• You have a diploma or degree in engineering, in instrumentation or chemical engineering.
• You are comfortable communicating verbally and in writing in English.
