Responsibilities
- Aid the Project Manager and Superintendent in implementing SBJ policies and executing the project.
- Create, monitor, and update project schedules.
- Collaborate with the project team to mitigate the impact of project constraints on the schedule.
- Create, maintain, and implement various document control entities such as daily reports, material procurement logs, submittal logs, as-builds, testing and inspection logs, RFI logs, and change order logs.
- Distribute new drawings, changes, approved submittals, RFI responses, and other project information to all relevant parties.
- Create agendas, documents, meeting minutes, and action items for various meetings, including owner/architect/contractor meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Support cost control efforts within the project.
- Promote a culture of creativity and accountability within the business unit, solving problems in innovative ways while maintaining organizational commitments.
- Support and promote SBJ's safety culture and practices, providing insight and supervision for the development and maintenance of construction safety policies, procedures, and practices.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, Procore, and scheduling software.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as plans and specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Strong organizational, file management, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a team-based environment.
- Ability to problem solve and develop outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
- A knowledge seeker who asks why and researches things they do not understand.
- Ability to work hard and play hard.
