Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, collaborate and assist on the design and analysis of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
- Carry out site visits and inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with principal engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions.
- Mentor and lead less experienced civil designers.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Six (6) or more years of experience in civil engineering design.
- Professional Engineering License in the State of Hawaii, or ability to acquire the State of Hawaii licensure immediately after starting.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
