Duties and Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge base and skills through mentoring and self-directed learning.
- Prepare engineering calculations, design elements, basic drafting and technical analyses under supervision.
- Aid in the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
- Utilize basic CAD drafting skills (Civil 3D preferred) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Apply established design methods, applicable codes, standards, and procedures.
- Support the team in estimating task completion times and proactively communicate delays.
- Conduct work in accordance with company standards, safety policies, and ethical guidelines.
- Seek guidance and mentorship from senior engineers and apply feedback for performance improvement.
- Perform additional duties as directed to meet project and company objectives.
- Maintain professionalism, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Determine appropriate sources for guidance on modified techniques and new approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Basic CAD drafting experience: (Civil 3D preferred).
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification (preferred).
