Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and engineers throughout all phases of construction, including pre-construction and design.
• Assist in developing project budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
• Review and manage design documents for constructability and distribution to clients and subcontractors.
• Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule, including monthly updates and progress tracking.
• Process change orders and manage scope changes between the client, subcontractors, and designers.
• Assist in securing vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor costs and assist with budget management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate with the owner and security officers for base access and ensure proper clearance.
• Support and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with plans and specifications.
• Assist in monitoring worksite safety and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
• Document and coordinate meetings, tracking actions and decisions.
• Manage submittals and RFIs.
• Support QC inspections and ensure project quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management related degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent competency achieved through relevant work experience.
• Work experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore.
• Willing to travel and relocate near the project location in Death Valley National Park, CA.
• Ability to obtain an Employer-Sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
