Responsibilities
- Review quotes, proposals, and purchase orders to confirm design requirements, technical accuracy, and pricing.
- Develop project design schedules; monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Cook design activities including civil design, steel fabrication, and project meetings.
- Travel to customer sites to conduct technical evaluations, develop recommendations, and assist with field measurements when needed.
- Resolve project design and warranty issues and respond to customer feedback on drawings.
- Review customer and internal drawings to ensure compliance with specifications; identify corrections as needed.
- Identify scope changes, and initiate requests for change orders.
- Prepare engineering studies (e.g., CFD analysis) for customer projects or product development.
- Drive product and process improvements and support development of new product offerings.
- Provide technical support and data to internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or similar field.
- Working knowledge of drafting and 3-D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
- 1-2+ years of engineering or design experience preferred.
