Project Engineer

Role Overview

Support packaging development and commercialization projects from concept through market launch. Blend project management, engineering support, testing, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project timelines, milestones, costs, and deliverables
• Cross-functional teams, suppliers, and global partners
• Maintain project documentation and records
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and packaging designs
• Support packaging development, material selection, and compatibility evaluations
• Coordinate packaging testing, validation, and reporting
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support resolutions
• Partner with Marketing and teams to ensure successful product launches

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 2-5 years of engineering, packaging, or project coordination experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Required Skills

• Project management experience
• Packaging/engineering fundamentals
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

• Packaging or consumer products experience
• Salesforce/CRM experience
• Experience working with global teams
• Mandarin language skills

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days onsite in Dallas)
• Hands-on role with project coordination and testing/lab activities
• Occasional supplier travel as needed
• Must be Dallas-based or willing to relocate
