Work Schedule: 7 days on, 12 hours per shift (7/12s)

Responsibilities

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications
  • Maintain document control and tracking logs
  • Support procurement and material expediting
  • Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications
  • Track scope changes and assist with change documentation
  • Support turnover and closeout documentation
  • Build and maintain installation work packages
  • Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthly reports consisting of project status and financials
  • Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting
  • Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics team with bill of material for installation work packages
  • Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management

Requirements

  • BS in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
  • Experience in industrial construction is preferred
  • Must have knowledge with CMS software
  • Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
  • Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
  • Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule and identify critical paths
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work
