Project Engineer
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay: $52/hour • Per Diem: $875/week
Work Schedule: 7 days on, 12 hours per shift (7/12s)

Responsibilities
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications
- Maintain document control and tracking logs
- Support procurement and material expediting
- Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications
- Track scope changes and assist with change documentation
- Support turnover and closeout documentation
- Build and maintain installation work packages
- Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthly reports consisting of project status and financials
- Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting
- Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics team with bill of material for installation work packages
- Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management
Requirements
- BS in Construction Management or related field
- Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
- Experience in industrial construction is preferred
- Must have knowledge with CMS software
- Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
- Working knowledge of MS Office software
- Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
- Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule and identify critical paths
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Regular and reliable attendance at work
