Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Preconstruction: Become proficient in reviewing project drawings, actively participating in the prequalification process, evaluating bids, reviewing subcontractor proposals, and confirming scope.
• Project Controls: Take ownership of managing all project-related documents, overseeing the review and approval process of all project control documents, analyzing executed Owner contracts, and ensuring compliance with subcontractor insurance.
• Schedule Management: Assist with project schedules and updates, keeping projects on track.
• Quality Management: Become an advocate for project excellence, learning and understanding QA standards, managing inspection tracking logs, and QA/QC compliance logs.
• Safety Champion: Contribute to the preparation of specific project safety plans, actively participating in weekly jobsite safety orientation meetings, and performing weekly job site safety audits.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
• Internship experience preferred
• Effective communication with clients, design consultants, and trade partners
• Use or learn construction management software (CMiC, Bluebeam, Salus, PlanGrid, MS Project, Primavera P6)
• Use Microsoft Office Suite

Key Information

• Full-time, in-person role split between the local office and assigned jobsite
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
• Authorization to work in the U.S. required
• The salary range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000
• This is a good faith estimate based on available market data; final offers depend on experience, skills, and qualifications
