Project Engineer
About the role
Lamp Rynearson is a civil engineering consulting firm with offices in Colorado, Nebraska, and Missouri. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for providing design services for community-changing projects. This position offers opportunities to work on a diverse range of projects including residential and commercial land development, oil and gas, solar, and municipal work.
Responsibilities
- Perform design tasks and make project design decisions
- Prepare correspondence, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Assist in all aspects of civil engineering projects
- Use Civil 3D or AutoCAD for design and drafting
- Complete drainage calculations using various software for hydraulic and hydrology analysis
- Work independently and collaboratively with different personalities and professional styles
- Communicate effectively and organize tasks with attention to detail
- Multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
- Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer-In-Training accreditation in Colorado
- 2 - 6 years of related skills and experience in the civil engineering field
- Experience in grading, utility design, and site plan design
- Strong understanding of hydraulic and hydrology analysis
- Ability to work with different personalities and professional styles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
Qualifications

$81,098 - $111,972 per year
