What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and product applications to solve complex production challenges
- Lead equipment and process improvements to reduce scrap, increase efficiency, and improve throughput
- Support new product launches, line startups, and production trials
- Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions
- Aid with equipment specifications, vendor selection, and contractor coordination
- Provide technical support for customer interactions, trials, and problem resolution
- Partner with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Lead installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and facility upgrades
- Train production and maintenance teams on new equipment and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant
- Step into leadership coverage (supervision support) as needed
Requirements
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, engineering documentation, and data
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions
- Solid project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deliverables
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred)
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information
