Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing demolition and carpentry projects
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure project accuracy
  • Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking to ensure projects stay on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and execution
  • Participate in jobsite walks, progress meetings, and safety discussions
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Assist in material procurement, equipment coordination, and logistics planning
  • Monitor field progress and help identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in construction, preferably with exposure to demolition, interiors, or carpentry scopes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction sequencing, and jobsite operations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore or similar)
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working for a subcontractor or specialty contractor
  • Exposure to selective demolition, tenant improvements, or commercial interiors
  • Field experience or carpentry background is highly valued

Pay

$80,000 - $105,000 per year
