Essential Functions
- Aid contractors in interpreting job designs and ensure construction adheres to project plans.
- Support project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and planning.
- Coordinate project implementation, manage project schedules and forecasts.
- Interpret drawings for subcontractors, review engineering deliverables, and redline drawings.
- Create and maintain bill of materials, monitor budgets, track trends, and prepare status reports.
- Evaluate and develop solutions to problems and questions from subcontractors and workers on-site.
- Assist with responding to Request for Information (RFI) submittals from project staff.
- Attend and represent current projects at site meetings and safety training sessions.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of interpreting architectural, engineering, and civil drawings.
- Understanding of construction industry terms and operations.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Strong attention to detail.
Minimum Education/Equivalent Experience Requirements
- Prior degree in Construction Management preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in interpreting building blueprints, including estimating.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of construction software like Timberline and Microsoft Project.
- Experience working with third-party developers and state/local officials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least one year of construction experience.
- OSHA training and GSWCC 1 certification preferred.
- Experience in both site improvements and vertical construction.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to work safely in ongoing construction environments and various weather conditions.
- Capacity to walk and climb steps.
- Long working hours as needed.
