Project Engineer

Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead integrated teams and manage a portfolio of capital projects across specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, or refining environments.

What You'll Do

• Lead an integrated project team on high-complexity projects up to $5MM
• Manage a portfolio of 8–10 medium-to-high complexity projects from study phase through construction, with total portfolio value up to $10MM
• Manage projects executed in phases over multiple years

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years managing capital projects in specialty chemicals, petrochemicals, or refining
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Skilled in front-end development, detail design, procurement, scheduling, cost control, and construction management
• Proven ability to build and lead integrated project teams
• Strong stakeholder management and risk identification/mitigation skills
• Experience developing schedules, cost estimates, and detailed execution plans
• Knowledge of constructability and construction safety practices
• Ability to partner with procurement and legal on labor and services contracts
• Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable in international and matrixed environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation/digital projects (DCS and PLC)
• Program Management experience
• Background in Production, Operations, or Manufacturing
• SAP experience
