Responsibilities
- Oversight of contract document preparation for moderately complex projects
- Coordination of assignments between task teams and fostering teamwork
- Oversight and tracking of project progress and budget coordination
- Supervision of project team staff
- Proposal preparation for opportunity pursuits
- Scope, schedule, and budget preparation for task assignments
- Routine interaction with clients and stakeholders
- Technical guidance to less experienced engineering team members
- Closely working with other disciplines and on multi-discipline projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required (preferably in NY)
- A minimum of eight years of engineering experience with a focus on design (structural preferred)
- Experience with local client base such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, MTA, PANYNJ, or NYCDDC
- Experience in conceptual, preliminary, and final design and plan/calculation production of bridge projects following Federal and State code
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
