Responsibilities
- Aid in pre-construction activities such as project plans, bid packages, and document setup.
- Create and manage submittal logs and warranty/O&M documentation.
- Prepare, review, and track Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Maintain project filing systems and documentation control.
- Draft and disseminate meeting minutes.
- Create and update project closeout documents.
- Evaluate and approve job cost status reports; assist with change order pricing and documentation.
- Verify subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and compliance.
- Support the Superintendent in monitoring jobsite quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Inspect the jobsite daily to assess conditions and progress.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on administrative and technical matters.
- Record verbal agreements or discussions with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 1–5 years of construction experience, preferably in water/wastewater or heavy civil projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, Sage Intacct, Bluebeam) is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to perform both office and fieldwork.
- Physical ability to walk construction sites, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience working in various weather conditions.
