Project Engineer

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their office in Dallas, TX. Since 1913, Fisk has been one of the nation's leading providers for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, structured cabling applications, integrated electronic security systems, and building technology solutions. Notable projects include The Purple Line (D Line) Extensions in Los Angeles, SR 99 Viaduct replacement tunnel in Seattle, MGM Grand and City Center projects in Las Vegas, Third Street Light Rail in San Francisco, Minute Maid Park in Houston, and multiple airport expansions and data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of startup checklist and site logistics plan
• Aid in development of quality control plan
• Affiliate with and monitor permit processes
• Prepare closeout log
• Participate in and document owner training
• Compile as-built drawings
• Administer RFI process
• Develop submittal log and administer submittal process
• Document job site meetings
• Verification of project materials
• Develop and maintain material expediting log
• Cook up quality control inspections
• Ensure accessibility of show drawings and submittals
• Create, distribute, and expedite sub responses to RFPs
• Process progress photos
• Aid in preparation of Owner Change Requests
• Aid in preparation of project status reports

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two or more years of experience working for a commercial electrical contractor
• Ability to perform trigonometric calculations, either manually or with calculator
• Ability to interface and communicate effectively with others
• Procore experience preferred
