What You’ll Do

  • Participate in safety planning, proactively support hazard identification, and help reinforce a culture of zero injuries on all projects.
  • Build foundational relationships with customers, architects, engineers, trade partners, and community members through day-to-day interactions.
  • Support communication and coordination across design, engineering, ownership, and vendor partners to ensure expectations are aligned.
  • Aid in identifying potential cost-savings, constructability considerations, and value-add solutions.
  • Participate in industry networking events to build relationships with potential future hires and/or build relationships with industry professionals.
  • Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in developing accurate schedules and sequencing plans.
  • Coordinate procurement efforts, including tracking material needs and working with the Superintendent to prevent delivery delays.
  • Ensure conformance to specifications and contract documents during material deliveries.
  • Prepare, review, maintain, and distribute project documents (RFIs, submittals, specifications, construction documents, ASIs, closeout items, etc.).
  • Create agendas, meeting minutes, and action item lists for various project coordination meetings.
  • Aid in drafting and managing trade partner and vendor scope documents and subcontractor agreements.
  • Track key financial indicators such as budget updates and change management documentation.

Who You Are

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field.
  • Have prior experience as a Project Engineer or Project Engineer Intern in the construction, architecture, or engineering industry.
