Responsibilities
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards, conducting inspections to maintain compliance.
- Provide engineering and technical support during the planning and execution phases of the project, ensuring designs are correctly interpreted and implemented.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure plans and specifications align with the project’s technical requirements and objectives.
- Help manage resources, including materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use in line with project needs.
- Monitor the progress of technical aspects of the project, providing updates and reports to the Project Manager on potential issues or delays.
- Address technical issues on-site, working with contractors and teams to find solutions and keep the project on schedule.
- Prepare presentations, reports, consultant/vendor comparison statements, and other documents for the Technical Department, ensuring clear, data-driven insights.
- Gather information, structure outlines, and draft work progression documents for reports.
- Develop clear and precise graphic presentations to illustrate technical and operational aspects for internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning, formal/informal training, coaching, and maintaining external professional accreditation.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences, and specialist media.
- Effectively communicate project updates and developments impacting business development, and provide guidance on adhering to new regulations.
