Project Engineer

About the role

At Dome Construction, we're looking for a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a blend of office and fieldwork, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to diverse and impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with architects, engineers, trade partners, and clients
• Walking active job sites, identifying and solving issues before they become problems
• Managing key documentation like RFIs, submittals, and project logs
• Scheduling, logistics, and financial tracking support
• Promoting safety and ensuring compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in construction or engineering roles
• Experience (or strong interest) in commercial, industrial, or tenant improvement projects
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (optional)

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized
• Passionate about construction and problem-solving
• Comfortable using tools like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay

Competitive salary, benefits, and room to grow. Pay dependent of experience, skill, knowledge. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range: $85,000—$95,000 USD

Schedule

Blend of office + fieldwork (never a boring day!)
