Project Engineer
About the Role
Project Engineer for multifamily residential and commercial construction projects in the Front Range. Project Engineers are typically assigned one project at a time and are responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent with subcontracts, schedules, change orders, RFIs, submittals, job costing, subcontractor performance, quality control, coordination, safety, and inspections. Typical projects range in size from $5m to $60m.
Deneuve operates primarily in the design/build and design/assist project delivery methods. Deneuve builds interesting and innovative projects and offers its employees high levels of independence and responsibility. There is opportunity for growth for motivated individuals.
Location
Our main office is in Boulder, but the Project Engineer is typically based in the field. Projects are typically in the northern Front Range area from south Denver to Fort Collins.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with subcontracts, schedules, and change orders
- Handle RFIs, submittals, and job costing
- Monitor subcontractor performance and quality control
- Coordinate project activities, safety, and inspections
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience
- College degree in Construction Management or Engineering is required
Skills
- Experience with Bluebeam, MS Office, scheduling software, and Autocad/Revit is preferred
