About the role

As a Project Engineer I (Electrical Construction), you will be responsible for the coordination, planning, and execution of project operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with project goals. Assists with various administrative and operational tasks throughout the project lifecycle, helping to maintain schedules, documentation, communication, and compliance with company standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather necessary details to ensure accurate material selection, dimensions, and incorporation of owner- or third party-supplied information
  • Maintain and track all jobsite documentation, including RFIs, ASIs, change orders, and relevant updates
  • Cookordinate with other trades to align efforts and manage associated documentation effectively
  • Prepare and submit project submittals, schedules, and operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals
  • Estimate, quantify, and draft change orders as required throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor and document quality assurance procedures, including maintaining QA logs and addressing issues
  • Participate in project meetings as assigned, supporting communication and documentation of decisions
  • Assisting office in various administrative needs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma required. A two-year college or university certificate is preferred. Alternatively, two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is acceptable
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety protocols, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak clearly and effectively before groups of customers or employees. Fluency in written and spoken English required
  • Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Capable of applying common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables within standardized situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including spreadsheet software and basic project management applications

$52,000 - $68,000/year (non-exempt)
