Project Engineer

About the role

Firm that specializes in assisting public, private, and institutional owners to manage the design and construction of their real estate projects is seeking a Project Engineer for a project involving a manufacturing facility in southeastern South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and processing submittals
• Reviewing contractor schedule submissions
• Monitoring construction work
• Reviewing requisitions for payment
• Evaluating change order proposals
• Managing small projects as assigned by the Project Manager

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience as a Project Engineer
• Experience as a Project Engineer on large, complicated building projects
• Experience on at least one project involving the construction or renovation of a manufacturing facility
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience utilizing construction management, estimating, and scheduling software
• Degree in architecture or engineering
• Preference given to candidates located in the southeastern South Carolina area
