Project Engineer

What You Will Do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our growing team out of our Nashville, TN office. The Project Engineer would be responsible for the entire project cycle, including design, development, and project completion. This role will prepare engineering analyses and drawings for review by their leader.

Qualifications

• PE or SE License
• BS with PE, MS with PE and / or SE, 5 to 10 years experience in building design
• Active Professional Engineer license, possibly in multiple states
• Seismic experience required
• Experience in Revit
• Experience with industry standard software, including but not limited to Microsoft products, Bentley (RAM) products, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, etc.

Skills And Competencies

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines, and bring each to completion
• Ability to identify applicable codes in project-specific jurisdictions and apply to the project
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are required
• Self-motivated and able to work within a team structure and independently
• Willing to take ownership of all work performed
