Responsibilities
- Developing construction work plans
- Supporting Superintendents and Foremen in the field
- Coordinating with Safety and Quality employees to ensure operations meet AB and Owner requirements
- Delegating planning and execution tasks to (2) or more Field Engineers
- Cooking with major Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Managing schedule and delivery expectations
- Managing submittals
- Managing onsite work
- Managing change orders
- Managing invoices
- Managing any discrepancies
- Supporting the Project Manager’s cost control responsibilities
- Documenting and maintaining quantity and production tracking
- Cost forecasts
- Look Ahead activity schedules
- Mentoring Field Engineers and Interns
- Proactive on Safety and Quality Assurance
- Providing areas for Field Engineers to expand their experiences
Requirements
- (5) Years minimum in heavy civil construction serving as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar role.
