Project Director-Market Lead for Cement & Lime

Position Summary As the Cement & Lime Market Lead. You will serve as the market-facing technical and commercial leader for the industry segment. Responsible for developing client relationships, identifying EPC opportunities, supporting proposals, providing technical guidance, and helping build a future leadership pipeline for Jedson Engineering. Scope of Work Develop market growth plans and target accountsSupport business development and strategic pursuitsLeverage industry expertise to identify capital projectsProvide SME support to engineering and project teamsRepresent Jedson at industry conferences and associationsMentor engineers and support succession developmentAssist with proposal strategy, estimating, and client presentations Background Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field12+ years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment with experience managing large projects ($200M +)Commitment to helping our customers be successfulExcellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated project management experience, including tracking and planning projects. Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget closeExperience mentoring less experienced engineering and project management professionals and overseeing projects under the daily management of othersSelf-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demandsAbility to self-manage daily and weekly activities in order to aggressively complete project and management requirementsAbility to re-organize project tasks and task priorities as necessary to ensure client’s project milestones are metExperience drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending subsequent budget changes where necessaryAbility to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively with clients, designers, engineers, field staff, suppliers/subcontractors, and other contractors at project sites
