Project Director (Healthcare)

We manage the construction of new facilities, renovation projects, seismic upgrades and building additions.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, coordination, and direction for a healthcare program, ensuring the program and individual projects are on budget and schedule, and the design fits the client’s requirements.
• Support design and construction, responsible for client interface, scope, schedule, and budget tasks as senior leadership in the field.
• Employee development, including coaching, mentoring, supervisory and training techniques.
• Supervise project team and ensure quality services consistent with Vanir procedures, client goals, and contract responsibilities on areas of safety, performance, and project staff.
• Develop an implementation plan and master schedule that reflects the priorities of the client.
• Ensure timely completion of all deliverables required by the client.
• Provide financial reporting to the client.
• Develop and review contract documents.
• Report and collaborate with client’s senior management team on all project matters.
• Develop and implement a program quality management system.
• Document and report all program/project data accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage program controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures required by the client.
• Track all program and project level status and provide management reports relative to scheduling, cost control, staffing and other related contract requirements.
• Create and present program and project data clearly to multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans.
• Develop recommended actions and assist in resolving disputes relative to design and construction.
• Provide management of program logistics, organization, safety, and manpower utilization.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure program and project success.
• Ensure contractor, architect, and engineer adhere to contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture is required.
• 15+ years of experience providing project/program management services on healthcare projects.
• OSHPD experience.
• Experience in managing the full construction of healthcare construction project life-cycle including pre-construction, design phases, and oversight of constructability reviews.
• Advanced knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts and delivery methods.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications and applied experience in the areas of project accounting, cost, administrative, and personnel interaction in professional settings.
• Experience in application of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is preferred.

Qualifications

• CMAA - Construction Manager in Training (CMIT) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is preferred.
• DBIA - Design Build Associate, or Professional certification is preferred.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer is preferred.

Pay

USD $175,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
