Project Designer
About The Role
We are partnering with a fast-growing technology company seeking a Product Designer to help shape and scale consumer-facing digital products. This is a hands-on role combining product thinking, UI/UX, interaction design, and execution. You will work directly with leadership and engineering to take ideas from initial vision through Figma design, implementation, launch, and optimization. We are looking for someone highly independent who can be given a vision or customer problem and turn it into an intuitive, visually compelling, and functional product experience.
Responsibilities
- Translate high-level product ideas into user flows, wireframes, interactive Figma prototypes, and implementation-ready UI.
- Own design from concept through production, remaining involved throughout engineering implementation.
- Map and improve customer journeys across onboarding, subscriptions, checkout, payments, marketplace activity, engagement, and retention.
- Identify friction using customer feedback, behavioral data, product analytics, and usability testing.
- Design intuitive, responsive web and mobile experiences, including error, cancellation, and recovery states.
- Build and maintain practical components and design systems.
- Work directly with distributed engineering teams to review implementation and resolve technical/design trade-offs.
- Use post-launch results to continuously improve the customer experience.
- Contribute across multiple digital products as the organization continues to grow.
Requirements
- Strong UI/UX expertise with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and user journeys.
- Advanced Figma skills across wireframes, prototypes, components, design systems, and developer handoff.
- Portfolio demonstrating complex product flows and functional digital products, not primarily marketing pages.
- Experience with transactional journeys such as onboarding, checkout, subscriptions, payments, marketplaces, or booking.
- Ability to take an ambiguous idea or leadership vision and independently turn it into an actual product experience.
- Strong understanding of both visual design and technical functionality.
- Comfortable communicating directly with engineers and working within technical constraints.
- Highly independent and self-directed with the ability to execute with minimal guidance.
There is no strict years-of-experience requirement. Portfolio quality, product thinking, independence, and proven execution matter most, although the ideal candidate will operate at a senior level.
Benefits
- Real ownership and direct impact on product direction.
- Opportunity to help build and scale an early-stage technology platform.
- Exposure to multiple consumer-facing digital products.
- Work closely with leadership and engineering in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Significant opportunity for professional growth as the organization scales.
