About the role
Slo is a full-service architectural practice founded in 2000, known for its innovative approach to civic, educational, residential, and industrial projects. Projects are designed to strengthen communities and promote environmental stewardship. Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural solutions for K–12 educational, residential, and community-centered projects.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and clients to refine project concepts and ensure design excellence.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Enscape, AI-assisted design tools, VR, and Grasshopper to enhance design processes.
- Engage in hands-on making and fabrication to bring designs to life.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to convey design intentions and project progress.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional design experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture or higher degree.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Enscape.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design, VR, and Grasshopper.
- Strong 3D modeling/printing, fabrication, and hands-on making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
