Responsibilities

• Clean hard-surface floors (disinfect, mop, strip and finish)
• Scrub and polish specialty floor surfaces (e.g., gym floors)
• Clean carpets via steam or shampoo methods
• Extract carpets with carpet extractors
• Wash windows
• Pressure wash building floors with power washers
• Perform minor wall repairs
• Collect and empty trash
• Service, clean and restock restrooms
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment
• Notify managers of the need for major repairs or additions to building systems
• Request necessary cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment
• Provide backup for crew members in the field as needed
• Drive frequently, often across a four- to five-state radius
• Occasional overnight shifts may be required

Requirements

• Experience in building and warehouse cleaning and maintenance
• Knowledge of proper floor care techniques for a variety of floor types (vinyl, tile, carpet, concrete, hardwood)
• Ability to travel (drive) to multiple work locations
• Ability to work days/nights and weekends
• Valid driver’s license to be maintained
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety data sheets (generally in English; may be provided in Spanish where state law requires)

$18.02 per hour
