KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages a project.
  • Captures and monitors project progress towards achieving project goals.
  • Administers and monitors project-related budgets.
  • Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
  • Affirms identification of funding resources and develops funding strategies and initiatives.
  • Generates various operational and statistical reports.
  • Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
  • Writes grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports departmental operations by assuming and managing a range of administrative and programmatic responsibilities, including:
    • Faculty Credentialing: Ensures compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
    • Faculty Promotions: Oversees and coordinates faculty promotion activities, including documentation, timelines, and submission processes.
    • CME Tracking and QGenda Management: Manages Continuing Medical Education (CME) tracking and administers QGenda scheduling functions.
    • Clinical Scheduling: Manages departmental on-call, consult, and e-consult schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
    • Event Planning: Leads planning and execution of departmental events, including but not limited to the Holiday Party, Swerlick Lecture, and Grand Rounds.
    • Space and Equipment Management: Oversees departmental space utilization and equipment management, including IT coordination and annual inventory audits.
    • General Administrative Support: Provides support for miscellaneous administrative duties, including RST submission, depositing departmental checks, mail management, and P-Card administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.
