About the role
CORE is the recognized leader in Occupational Medicine, providing the full spectrum of occupational medicine services to numerous Fortune 500 companies, NASA, and other industry leaders. We are looking for a Project Coordinator - RN or Paramedic to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Managing multiple projects and teams of medical professionals across various worksites nationwide
- Assisting the clients, Site Safety Managers and personnel in maintaining the most safe and secure work environment possible
- Responding to emergencies efficiently and promptly
- Administering basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local and company policy and regulations
- Assessing the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures
- Effectively communicating with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action
- Effectively communicating with client and site personnel regarding any worksite incidents, hazards, etc.
- Demonstrating a strong orientation towards team work and the ability to understand the importance of team coordinated efforts
- Demonstrating a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and construction site hazards
- Ensuring that quality, clinical standards are practiced at all times
- Documenting all findings and treatments clearly and concisely
- Conducting oneself in a helpful, dignified and professional manner regardless of stress level and personal circumstances
Qualifications
- RN: multi-state compact license or Paramedic: (EMT-P) National Registry EMT-P certification required
- Previous ER, Urgent Care, ICU or EMT/Paramedic experience, 1st response experience or emergency 911 experience preferred
- Previous supervisor/leadership experience preferred
- Education level: Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Flexible schedule: Days, Nights, Weekend availability required
- Travel: both locally and extended, overnight out of state required
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications and other technological systems highly preferred
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification; any additional certifications are a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees
